China Tower to more than 2.1 million tower sites throughout the country as the support, based on the Internet, cloud computing and the national unified platform capabilities, gradually upgrade the communication tower to "digital tower", through the communication tower mounted emergency communication equipment, cameras into "emergency electronic sentinel", once there is a dangerous situation, the relevant government departments can release information in a timely manner, and through the video data collected at a high point for analysis, comprehensive research and judgment, improve emergency command and dispatch capabilities.
Up to now, the tower site facilities of China Tower have carried the forest and grass fire prevention monitoring system, the earthquake intensity early warning and forecasting system, the emergency flood control dispatching command system, and are widely used in the field of urban safety such as fire warning, urban natural gas pipelines, and high-consequence area monitoring, providing a solid guarantee for the protection of life and property safety and the construction of the national governance system.
In terms of flood prevention protection, China Tower has built 11,168 video surveillance points relying on the resources of the tower, and 779 large and medium-sized reservoirs have been covered, with a coverage rate of 16.5%, effectively supporting the national flood prevention and drought control work. For example, in Shandong Province, more than 300 tower high-point stations have been used to quickly realize the panoramic monitoring of important elements such as 253 medium- and large-scale reservoir dams, spillways (gates), and water release holes, forming a "command and dispatch map" and improving the regional water conservancy defense command and dispatch capabilities.
In terms of forest fire prevention, the national forest area is 2.2 million square kilometers, and China Tower has provided 37,000 video surveillance for 1,556 key forest and grass fire prevention areas relying on the resources of the tower, covering an area of more than 420,000 square kilometers, accounting for 19%. For example, 6403 cameras were deployed in Hebei Province, the forest coverage rate reached 96%, and fire early warning services and all-weather cruise were provided, which made the early detection and early disposal of fires in the province, greatly reducing the cost of manual inspection and improving the effectiveness of early warning. After the completion of the intelligent monitoring system for forest and grass fire prevention, the incidence of forest and grass fires in Hebei Province has dropped by about 80%.
